Datamars are a worldwide pioneer in electronic textile identification solutions, with more than 30 years of experience. Datamars Livestock is a sub-brand that combines Datamars’ powerful product brands into one ecosystem of livestock management.
Sparks had built a Drupal 8 website for Datamars Livestock back in 2020, which was a miraculous 3-week start-to-finsh turnaround from a brief being signed off, to the website being built.

THE OPPORTUNITY
Over time, the needs of the site changed somewhat. Initially built largely to promote a smarter future for managing farms and livestock, the coming years allowed Datamars a little more time (than 3 weeks!) to pad out the brief. Datamars Livestock was continually growing as a brand, becoming a global frontrunner when it comes to the specific solutions tied to managing farms and livestock, and there was a growing need for that to be at the forefront of the website context.
Roll on May 2024, and https://livestock.datamars.com/ was launched in all its glory. Rebuilt on Drupal 10, the site benefits from SmartIP. Users worldwide will be redirected to a specific site version depending on their geographic location. The site houses 9 different versions - all fully translated: New Zealand, Australia, North America (US and Canada), Español (serving Spain and the whole of Latin America), Italian, Chinese, Africa, Portuguese, and Global (essentially ‘the rest of the world’).
Each version serves regional and language specific content: displaying Solutions available in each region. Coupled with information and links to Solution retailers within each given region, the site now displays a perfect blend of world-class solutions promotion, and relevant brand links for users to continue on their information/purchase journey.
